Kamisama Hajimemashita — March 3, 2018

Kamisama Hajimemashita

I finally completed Kamisama Hajimemashita!

I never really took the time to check it out and read it and snubbed it instead for a LONG time.

Not too long ago I was bored to the point of no return when at last I made up my mind to start it and from there on it was a long but definitely worth it read!

I sincerely loved every bit of the story, it hasn’t bored be to the least and when it finally came to an end it gave me a nice feeling of satisfaction and maybe even pride, I’d say.

I always tend to love stories with a big number of characters that somehow all end up together (?) and Kamisama Hajimemashita is one if those.

i just love the chemistry :((

I don’t see anything particular in regards to the drawing style, especially since I’m not an expert.

Kamisama Hajimemashita was funny, cute, emotional, pleasant and overall a great read, I’m happy I took the courage to read it.

I started reading Mairunovich again!!

I wonder why I never managed to complete it~~ I always drop it somewhere and never remember where…

The manga is good and cute like always, Mairu is so pretty  ❤ ❤

And it’s drawn very well~ obviously… what am I even saying *laughs*

Hopefully this time I won’t drop it and I’ll go till the very end~~

Ok, uhhh.

It’s seriously been a long time since I last came here and posted something… I have no excuses either actually…

I’ve been lazy. That and the fact that I haven’t really watched many anime at all this year… nor read mangas.

I should be ashamed of myself TTTT

I remember writhing some kind of draft about Gantz:O after I watched it and loved it so much as well, but now I can’t seem to find it anywhere *cries in italian*

So yeah. I came empty handed.

Yesterday I felt like reading manga again I NEEDED TOO, I MISSED THEM SO BAD AAAAAAAA

So yeah, I went ahead and re-read for the millionth time Midnight Secretary because it is THAT good to me, yeah.

I don’t know why they were uploaded in the wrong order but whatever, I’ve never been good with technology.

I just seriously LOVE this manga. I’m sure many people think it’s cliche and I don’t even know what else, like I’ve seen in the case of Hapi Mari, but I don’t mind. More like, I like cliche and I like cheesyness. ❤

Not that there’s much of that in it anyways… I feel like I’m talking in circles °^°

That was not my intention.

Without indulging much further I’ll go read some more mangas BYE

P.S. I need more old mangas to read I find them so much more entertaining and better than many more recent ones RIP ENGLISH

Found yet another manga and read it all, I hope they didn’t drop the project though >//< I want to read more… The struggle is real. The style reminds me a little bit of ‘Yumemiru Taiyou’ although the story is completely different.

Just checked the mangaka out and nope, they aren’t the same person. I haven’t read any of her other works, hm…

‘Yajirobee’ is the name and it’s only two-volumes long for a total of 11 chapters (the sancs stop at chap. 10 *cries in a corner*).

I ADORE shoujo mangas!! I think that they have much better art than the other genres. Not that the others don’t have good art… argh!

Regarding the story, it is a pretty unique one and the couples have not formed just yet so I can speculate as much as I want on who’s going to end up with who. *grinning* ❤

Usually, in this kind of story where the main guy is a lot older, I would ship her with him, no matter what. However! Shikashi! This time I don’t ship her with him. The story simply doesn’t go that way and it somehow feels very wrong ahahah. My ship is Haru and Towa.. ❤ Don’t think it’s going to happen but whatever, Bonta is sweet as well 🙂

Yesterday afternoon I completed ‘360° Degrees Material’–!! ❤

It was a very nice read 🙂 Nothing too special, but still good.

Once again I felt so bad for Marui-kun and wished for his happiness until the very end… the struggle is always very real.  😦

I’m not completely complaining though because Taki-kun is just as great and sweet. 🙂

I have the feeling that certain things were left uncompleted, but maybe it was done on purpose, I don’t know.

Great art by the way! The eyes, hair and eyebrows in my opinion were drawn the best, ahahah! 🙂

Taki-kun ❤

A few hours before I completed the available chapters of ‘Principal’!

I must say that I had never seen this manga before, and to think that it is not even that recent…

I randomly found out about it on Myanimelist.com and decided to give it a try.

At the beginning I thought of dropping it: the story was not progressing and it just didn’t get me. For me it is important that a manga (or anything else actually) engages me from the very beginning, I don’t have enough patience to wait for it when it’s going too slowly.

Still, at the same time, I could feel that it would have been a waste to just drop it like that and something kept me going.

Heheheheh *grinning*

I did well. 🙂

I thought it was going to be the usual love triangle based story and I’m not into them at all. I can resist as long as they don’t become too messy or clichè,at that point I can’t stomach them, really…

Anyway, fortunately, this story turned out to be pretty different from the ones I had read so far. I’d say, the way the story went so far, it resembles more an asian drama’s plot. 🙂

The first impact I had with the drawings was the one I always get when I read old ones. Let’s be honest, they do look lacking. I still appreciate them, they are good and once you get over the first impression they become even better and they all look damn bishounens. ❤

Hotties are going to be hotties no matter what.

You just have to get over the first impact if you’re like me. 🙂

Too bad that the scans stopped right when the main couple seemed to start having hope… it’s always like that. *cries internally*

Recently I’m jumping from one series to the other, lol. I actually planned on studying starting a completed manga so that I was sure I was going to complete the story, but then I found this and it looked like a waste to just leave it there. There aren’t many chapters left anyways…

I said that this was going to be the last, but here I am reading ‘360° Degrees Material’ all over again… well, at least this is a completed series! *wink* 🙂

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot.

Another peculiar thing about this manga is how sometimes it would turn super dark (?)

I think the mangaka wanted to convey the psychological load that certain events or even words can give to people. I really like this aspect ❤ because it gives you the feeling that it was actually well thought and not just the usual story. 🙂

Also, just like in ‘Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi’, dogs are portrayed in an adorable way, and for me that doesn’t have a dog, it makes me one one so much.. >\\<

Another day, another achievement.

Not the right achievement (haven’t studied at all for my upcoming exam next week) but still an achievement: I “completed” another manga!!

Double quotes because I only completed the available chapters, not the whole story.

It took me about a day and a half to read all the chapters, but it wasn’t a hard read at all.

‘Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi’ is the latest manga I re-read.

I guess you got it already but I recently got into the mood of re-reading those manga that I read a long time ago and that hold a special place in my heart (because of the time I read them in, mainly).

It’s too bad that right when stuff seemed to start happening, the chapters finished. 😦

One thing that I really appreciated in ‘Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi’ is the love and care that the mangaka showed towards dogs. She was obviously sending a message through her own work, and I find that fascinating ❤

As for the rest, the story is good (nothing out of the ordinary) and the art is fine too. Hanabi looks adorable when she smiles, doesn’t she?? 🙂 ❤

Hope tor ead more in the near future… When am I going to start buying mangas..? T^T

Yesterday I mentioned in a post that I was planning on watching ‘When a Snail Falls in Love’ for the third time already, well I didn’t do it.

My little sis ended up finding a good story to read on Wattpad so I had to go and look for something for myself too. Recently I’m into the mood to read manga and after completing two series I feel all pumped up and ready to complete many others. Am I going to spend all 2017 reading manga, I ask myself. Yeah, most probably I will.

Anyway, thirsty for something to keep me entertained, I went on mangafox and randomly browsed the shoujo section. Having already tried/read the majority I didn’t know what to do. I wanted something with enough chapters to keep me up for the two hours that I had before going to bed (yeah, I’m 19 and I still have to go to sleep by 22 p.m.).

The first one that had those characteristics was ‘Heroine Shikkaku’. I remember reading it for a while not a long ago, but ended up dropping it for some reason.

Well, yesterday I re-started it and today I completed it. The whole thing.

I have to say… there was so much drama going on in there… *sweaty*

So many people dropped it when they found out who the main girl was going to end up with. That’s why spoilers are bad for our health… 😦

I did expect that though. I can’t say I’m happy with how things turned out because my ships were completely different, but if we are to think about it properly it only makes sense. The title is self explanatory.

While I like that the ending is kind of realistic or, even better, well thought, and I respect the mangaka’s choices I can’t help but feel bad for my ships. It’s that feeling that you have that tells you that she would have totally been better off with this guy instead of the one she chooses. Also, it is simply terrible to see side characters be hurt so much in all series.

Especially in this one here ahahah. So many characters popped out of nowhere and contributed into making the already-existing mess into a even bigger one.

All of this aside, it was a great series and the sometimes comical drawings keep you well balanced between fangirling, crying and laughing your behind off. 🙂

Now, it’s picture time *smirks*

Also, while reading it I noticed this thing here but couldn’t take a screen because I don’t know how to do it from ubuntu *shy* *shy* so I googled it. AREN’T THOSE GUYS FROM STROBE EDGE? What are they doing in the background? Ahahahha. Also this mangaka here is a huge fan of Miyazaki, isn’t she? Quoting his works all the time, lol.

As soon as I finished that manga though, I couldn’t stop myself from starting to re-read an oldie… ‘Five’!

I remember reading it during my second year of highschool, ahahha. Time sure flies, huh.

The drawings are unique, sometimes it does seem like the characters’ body parts aren’t proportioned but over all they are pretty good 🙂

Just like ‘Oresama Teacher’ it’s a 2008 manga which means that it came out when I was still in middle school?? D:

Good to know I guess…

Ikemen are still ikemen ❤

I completed all the available chapters on Mangafox of ‘Oresama teacher’–! T^T

I want to buy this manga so bad, but I can’t…! *desperate*

I’m so looking forward to the next update *-*

I have to remember to check every now and then. 🙂

Here’s a parting screenshot… ❤
